Pool Table

Updated: Jul 6, 2018

Rubber Wood, Steel, slate, Bolts heavy duty brackets, pocket holes, compressed glue and Treated with Rubio Mono coat - Havana color pigment

The final outcome of the pool table section - Built from Rubber Wood, Steel, slate, Bolts heavy duty brackets, pocket holes, compressed glue and Treated with Rubio Mono coat - Havana color pigment.

Estimated weight 300 + kg's. Solid Slate covered in black veld. She has an internal ball collection system as well so no pocket catchers on this one.Slightly raised on the bottom of the legs to give a floating effect. She also has a trolley to put the two top halves on so you can slide the top sections under the table when playing pool.

The only way to do great work, is to love what you are doing.

Unfortunately the rubio monocoat was still drying at the time I took the photos so I will post the top section once she is dry so you can see the dining room table side of her. An absolute challenge to build as one man but what a joy. I really love this table and had to leave her in her new home with the most amazing human beings, but with a sad heart. We bonded over the last 3 weeks which was quite interesting for me to note. Was not easy to turn around and walk away. Thank you so much Schalk and Rolindi for giving me the opportunity to build this for you. May it bring you many many memories for many many years to come.

Hope you guys like.
